A Scholar Among Us!

The Gilman Scholarship awards offered for Spring 2012 have been announced.

Congratulations to Interstudy student, Kendall Pruitt for winning an award! Kendall will be studying at Queen Mary, University of London this Spring.

Often times there is a misconception that the Gilman Scholarship is only open to students who are studying in non-traditional countries. NEW Summer Program for Business Majors

Interstudy is pleased to announce a NEW Summer Program for Business Majors in South Africa. In partnership with Stellenbosch University, students will participate in a 5 week long program specifically focused on Business in Southern Africa. Please see below for a list of program highlights.

In addition to the 5 week academic program, students will participate in the famous Garden Route tour along the Western Cape of South Africa at the conclusion of their studies, along with numerous other excursion opportunities during their stay. As with all of our programs, Interstudy staff are available to students 24/7 for day-to-day and emergency support. Read more

Family Time

I had thought about what leaving South Africa was going to be like early on in my trip.  I figured I would leave the Rainbow Nation behind along with my email address to the couple of friends I had made on my journey.  I figured I would return with some impressive new photos, a nice tan, maybe a wooden giraffe souvenir.  However, as I sit here in my Colorado home, still in awe at how I could have forgotten how cold these snowy days can be, I realize that I had sorely underestimated what returning to America would be like.
