Meet Your Match: Tips on Choosing a Program

Soon you’ll be headed back to school, and it will be time to start finalizing your plans for your time abroad. Whether you’re thinking about going to the bustling city of London, the beautiful wine region of Stellenbosch, or perhaps the historic town of Galway, Ireland, you’re in for a fresh perspective and wonderful memories.

You might think that coming to a conclusion on where to study is an easy decision. I mean, no matter where you decide to go it is going to be a life changing experience right? While this is not completely wrong, there are still key elements to consider before finalizing the decision of where you want to go abroad. To help, we’d like to share a list of factors to consider when choosing a study abroad program.

London – the New Milan?

So is London the new Milan? The Huffington Post reports that British design has it’s own sense of creativity and originality, setting it apart from other design hubs. So if you’re looking to study Design and/or Fashion during your semester abroad, and perhaps haven’t had a chance to brush up on your Italian, London may be the place for you! Alumni Spotlight: Career Focus

Studying abroad with interstudy offers the opportunity to experience new cultures, travel to new places, meet new people, and of course study at an international institution along host country students. On top of all of this, you can also gain new skills and advance your upcoming career. One returned interstudy Alumni, Veronica Marcelo, was able to take advantage of all of these opportunities by participating in an internship with CBS World News in London while studying at the University of Westminster during the Fall of 2009.
